Now that class is over, I’m back to some Project 52-type work. Nancy has been great at posting weekly challenges, and while I’ve been class, I didn’t have any images that aligned with her challenge topics.
This week’s challenge is all about scenery. There isn’t a lot of scenery in Indiana, so I didn’t run out and take a shot as I would normally try to do on a project 52 challenge. I went back to my archives and found a snapshot from a trip that I took to Great Sands National Park a couple of years ago. The sand was really difficult to walk through, but I did reach the summit.

Any and all comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
Beautiful shot of gorgeous scenery. If I had to nit pick I would double check the horizon, it may be a degree or so off. Looks like a lovely place to visit and photograph,Joe.

Thanks for the comment Sheila. I agree with you… I should have twisted it a smidge.
Great Sands is in a spot that from a distance looks like someone dumped a pile of sand in the middle of nowhere, like “who put that HERE?” Quite a bit of wooded area surrounding it, with nice kicking trails too. Well worth the visit if you like that kind of thing.

Thank you. Next week I’m headed to Joshua Tree with my point and shoot camera. We’ll see what turns out there.
